Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7, stretches for nearly 2 kilometres along the western coast of Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Its shallow, warm turquoise waters shelve gently into sand so white it almost glows — making it safe, beautiful, and unforgettable.

Declared Asia's best beach by Time Magazine, Radhanagar is protected as part of the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. The dense tropical forest comes right to the beach's edge, providing shade and a primeval atmosphere found almost nowhere else.

Sunsets here are legendary. The sky transforms through deep orange, violet and crimson as the sun drops behind the Andaman Sea — a spectacle that draws visitors from every corner of the world.

Getting There

Two ways to reach paradise.

Port Blair (Veer Savarkar International Airport, IXZ) is connected to 5 major Indian cities by regular direct flights. The journey takes 2–4 hours depending on your city — a quick hop to an entirely different world.

If you have time and a spirit of adventure, passenger ships from Chennai and Kolkata sail to Port Blair in 56–65 hours. These overnight voyages are an experience in themselves — watching dolphins, flying fish and the open ocean from the deck.
